Oh goodness I'm never drawing myself again, it makes me realise how awful I look haha! Yea I'm just starting to play around with different media I can use (photoshop) to make more effective portraits. Fun times
I love that song from The Feeling! Yea, this was part of a birthday present, their going up in a helicopter and i guess this is a hint. Can't think what gives it away hehe.
This is the first time I didn't use a pencil, I just went straight for the kill and drew it in Adobe Illustrator. I am pleased with the result but I don't think I'll make a habit of this. I'm pretty old fashioned I guess.
You know when you haven't done something for ages and you think "oh my! Can I still do this?" Well, I had that feeling. So I just copied one of my images and I'm pleased with it because I think I've captured her character, which I think is really important in portraits. Yea, its pretty boring at the moment so the next step is to jazz it up with some...I donno yet, I'll think of something.
I had three hours and 30 minutes to come up with a design for a work Christmas poster for my Aunt. This was so much fun and pretty happy with the end result. In a way I'm glad I didn't have allot of time I just loved rushing around like a headless chicken trying to get the hand right. It's OK!
I have added textured colour to the items to jazz them up a bit and put them in a sort of environment, which gives it more of a purpose and could be be used to promote an illustration exhibition for example.
